All of your questions, answered
How does Freelance Legal work?
Its simple. Businesses can submit a request for legal assistance to Freelance Legal here. Our platform then matches* the role with our registered and vetted freelance lawyers.
The most suitable freelance lawyers are then invited to submit a competitive (usually fixed fee) quote for the work. You can then decide which lawyer to hire, having a 1:1 consultation if required. As a curated platform, once the project is complete, we ask you to provide a review and rating which is published on the platform.
*Currently the matching process is done manually whilst we build our matching engine and algorithms.
How much does it cost?

I'm worried about confidentiality, what is your policy?
For clients using our platform – information submitted via a quotation request is kept in strict confidence and is only shared with suitable lawyers (who are also under an obligation of confidentiality) for the purpose of providing you with competitive quotes. If you do not decide to continue to proceed with the work via a lawyer introduced through the platform, your information will be erased after 60 days.
For freelance lawyers applying to join our site – your CV is treated as strictly confidential. When a suitable piece of work is submitted, we will contact you to ask you to bid for the work. If its not a good fit for you, then the process ends there. Your profile remains private and confidential. If you do decide to make a bid, then that is the only time it will be shared with the potential client.
